Compassionate Science
Science can be something that is used solely to make a bunch of money, but it can also be something that can help build a bright future. There are many ways in which this can be done and one of those ways is becoming a compassionate scientist, but what exactly does it take to be on? In order to be a compassionate scientist one must have the never-ending ability to sympathize with others. If the world had more compassionate scientists, then millions of deaths could be prevented a year. I would not be able to become a passionate scientist because I don't care about helping out others that might not even appreciate what I would do. The only case where I might do so, is if I were doing something that could help animals out. The main trait a compassionate scienctist should have is the inability to stay apathetic to all of the world's problems around them.
